Terms & Conditions

While Henderson Taxi will try to transport you in accordance with the time and date of your specified booking, it does not guarantee it will be able to do so. Delays may happen for a range of reasons, including but not limited to traffic congestion, weather, high demand, etc.

Henderson Taxi excludes any financial liability (to the extent permitted by law) for any costs or expenses incurred by the customer as a result of failure to reach any destination or schedule on time. It is the customers’ responsibility when making a booking to allow adequate extra time for unforeseen delays.

Customers are required to contact Henderson Taxi on +64 210 298 1892 within 5 minutes of their scheduled pick-up time if the vehicle has not arrived.

Baggage must not be oversized unless prior approval for carriage of large luggage has been arranged with Henderson Taxi.

Waiting time charge

Waiting time of $1.75c per minute will be charged on the following occasions:

  1. For Drop off to Auckland Airport: – If the driver has to wait for more than the initial 5 minutes of scheduled pickup time.
  2. For Pickup from Auckland Domestic Terminal: – Wait time fee would be charged if the driver has to wait for more than an initial 30 minutes after the flight arrival time or 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time if specified by the customer.
  3. For Pickup from Auckland International Terminal: – Wait time fee would be charged if the driver has to wait more than 60 minutes after the flight arrival time or 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time if specified by the customer.

Booking cancellations

Booking cancellations must be received 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time or the full quoted price will be payable by the customer named on the booking. Failure to pay any overdue amount will result in the debt being passed to a debt-collecting agency and will incur debt-collecting costs.

Public Holiday Charge

Public holiday charge may be applied for bookings on public holidays in New Zealand.

Parking charges

Parking charges (if any, excluding Airport parking fees) and Road Tolls (if any) incurred to pickup/drop off customers will be payable by the customer on top of the quoted fare. Airport Parking fees are included in the quoted price.
